It is used with a bradoon in a double bridle.

The forward-tilted port provides tongue clearance for horses that dislike tongue pressure. A curb chain is supplied with the bit.

The mouthpiece is high-quality, hypoallergenic thermoplastic; the cheeks are stainless steel. The material is temperature-neutral and dimensionally stable, retaining flexibility in cold weather.

The thermoplastic is food-safe, free from solvents, free from plasticisers.
