It is intended for use as a bradoon.

novocontact bits are designed to create a unique oval shape which widens the contact surface on the tongue while the rider keeps a steady contact. Only when the rider gives a reinforced rein aid the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface gets narrower, ensuring more precise and effective communication. Thus, novocontact bits improve the interaction between horse and rider for a better contact and acceptance of the bit. The double jointed eggbut bit with D-shaped rings has a light limiting effect and lies calmly in the mouth. At the same time it helps to protect the sensitive corners of the mouth. The model allows a direct transmission of the reins. Due to the modern novocontact geometry, this double-jointed model is a good choice for horses that occasionally get strong but are too sensitive for more impactful bits. These horses also reacted positively to the bit in the manufacturer's practical tests. It fits ergonomically in the horse's mouth, has a large contact surface on the tongue and thus supports a soft but clear impact.

The mouthpiece is Sensogan. The rings and cheeks are stainless steel rings / cheeks. Mouthpiece thickness is 14 mm. The cheek design is Eggbutt.

German LPO classification: Approved under German LPO rules as a bradoon for tests requiring a double bridle: • dressage classes L to S • eventing from GVL (dressage phase) Approved under German LPO rules for ponies in all tests ridden in a snaffle bridle.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/3000/4354/files/S40362_0f01be3a-9b3d-4089-8cd2-e816c24defd2.jpg?v=1788358730
