PS of Sweden Bridle High Jump - Brown

The PS of Sweden High Jump Bridle has a flexible noseband that lets you ensure a custom fit for every horse. The noseband is designed to avoid pressure from the outside on the teeth and sensitive nerves, which also minimises any teeth-related injuries. The flexible bow makes it adjustable for each horse with much greater variation than many classic bridles, and the noseband takes up little space, which minimises the pressure on the sides. The sidepieces of the noseband are rounded to make room for the cheekbones and fasten with a pullback snap in the D-ring, which gives additional freedom for the jaw as the cushion is always centred. You can change the noseband to meet different needs.

The area behind the ears is very sensitive, with many nerves and ligaments, so the headpiece is extra wide, distributes pressure well and leaves plenty of room for the ears, with soft padding for added comfort. It is the widest headpiece in the collection and has two cutouts to distribute the pressure.

The cheekpieces are developed to reduce pressure from the neck via PS of Sweden's elastic Cradles™. A Cradle is an extra elastic band that the bit should rest on, located in the cheekpieces at the bit and on PS of Sweden reins. The idea is that they act elastically and give the horse more comfort by allowing the bit to bounce, which should relieve the teeth and jaws of static pressure. Many believe that horses prefer this type of bridle and that it can be more gentle and horse-friendly than regular bridles and reins. The seams are rounded and there are optional Cradles, so you can easily detach them when you enter the dressage arena.

The browband is U-shaped to prevent pressure on the horse's forehead and eye socket, with a rubber-coated inside, so-called anti-slip, that is supposed to keep it in place. The Click-It™ function makes it easy to remove and replace the browband as needed, even when the horse is wearing the bridle.

The bridle works for all disciplines and is approved by the FEI. PS of Sweden recommends checking with your local equestrian authorities for detailed information in your country. For dressage competitions, buy a throatlatch, attach it to the browband and disconnect the Cradles. A compatible throatlatch model is Flat w/ Dark Stitches. If you are choosing between two sizes, PS of Sweden recommends the larger one, and the bendable bows are adjusted individually to fit your horse.

Recommended for horses that are very sensitive to pressure, have difficulty relaxing and coming to work, have difficulty supporting themselves on the bit, have previous bit or teeth-related injuries, and can occasionally become strong. It is recommended for horses with previous bit-related injuries or sensitive gums. Reins are sold separately.
