How to measure:
- Chest: arm pit to arm pit.
- Coat length: top of the zip or collar to the bottom of the coat.
- Sleeve: hood seam to cuff.
Fit notes:
- Kids' coats are cut with room to layer a jumper underneath, so there is a little growing room built in.
- From around age 13 or 14, most children move into the adult XS.

The Reincoat Edge Kids is the one they will wear most. A full length waterproof coat with a micro-fleece lining, it sits between the Lite and the Pro: more warmth than the Lite, less bulk than the Pro.
The Lite is a mesh lined shell for when they are running about. The Pro has a thick winter fleece for standing about in the cold. The Edge is the one in between, and for most children that covers most of the school year.
Full length cover so their legs stay dry walking to the yard or waiting at the gate, with leg straps that hold it in place in the saddle and tuck away when they are on foot. The hood locks down so it stops flapping, and the whole thing goes in the washing machine, which matters at this age.
Sized by age with room to layer a jumper underneath. If they are between ages, take the larger one.

Between ages? Take the larger one. Better a coat that lasts two winters than one that fits perfectly for three months.
Coming from a Lite? The micro-fleece lining takes up a little more room than the Lite's mesh, so expect the same age to feel slightly closer.
Older children. From around age 13 or 14 most move into our adult XS.
Shell. ReinRepel® Pro three-layer, rated to 20,000mm with 10,000mvp breathability and fully taped seams, finished with a PFAS-free DWR treatment.
Lining. Micro-fleece, for balanced warmth without the bulk of a full winter fleece. Warmer than the mesh-lined Lite, lighter than the Pro.
Care. Machine washable, which matters at this age. Cool wash with a waterproof tech wash only, and do not tumble dry.
