PS of Sweden Double Bridle Passage - Brown

The PS of Sweden Passage Double Bridle has a wide, anatomical noseband that is swept up and extra wide to leave the cheekbones and nerve endings free. The noseband has very soft padding to prevent pressure and chafing around the horse's jaw. The pull-back strap keeps the padded cushion underneath centred when you tighten the noseband, whether you use the outermost or innermost hole.

The neckpiece is designed to offer the most relief of pressure and freedom around the ears, and the sidestraps are one piece with the neckpiece to further reduce the pressure on the horse's neck.

The sideparts are designed to reduce pressure from the neck via PS of Sweden's elastic Cradles™. A Cradle is an extra elastic band that the bit should rest on, located partly in the sideparts at the bit and on PS of Sweden reins. The idea is that they act elastically and give the horse more comfort by allowing the bit to bounce, which should then relieve the teeth and jaw of static pressure. Many believe that horses prefer this type of bridle and that it can be more gentle and horse-friendly than regular bridles and reins. The sideparts are round-sewn and also have optional Cradles with French hooks, which are easy to disconnect when entering the dressage arena.

The browband is round-sewn and completely mouldable. It arrives straight, so you can bend it yourself and change the shape for an optimal fit. A rubber-coated interior, so-called anti-slip, should keep it up, and the Click-It™ function makes it easy to remove and change the browband when needed, even when the horse is wearing the bridle. The Click It™ button is blue, with the PS of Sweden logo on it.

The bridle works for all disciplines and is approved by the FEI when a throatlatch is added, for both horses and ponies. PS of Sweden recommends checking with your local equestrian authorities for detailed information in your country. For dressage competitions, buy a throatlatch, attach it to the browband and disconnect the Cradles. A compatible throatlatch model is Flat w/ Rolled Stitched. Recommended for horses that are stable in riding, enjoy a classic noseband bridle, are sensitive to pressure over the nose ridge, and need mild to moderate relief over the molars. Reins are sold separately.
