Cavalor ArtiTec is a liquid joint supplement that supports sensitive tendons and joints during peak times. It is the result of 7 years of scientific research with UGent into optimum nutritional support for healthy tendons and joints in top-class sport horses, and it offers protection against damage caused by strain.
Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and hyaluronic acid are building blocks for ligaments, tendons, bones and joint fluid, MSM is the most easily absorbable source of sulphur, and L-glutamine is a building block for the antioxidant glutathione. The herbal blend, with pineapple, turmeric and boswellia, works synergistically to help stop adverse processes in the musculoskeletal system before they cause damage. The turmeric contains 95% curcuminoids, the active ingredient.
ArtiTec is a great tasting liquid. In a pilot study, 97% of the horses found it palatable and 74% showed observed improvement.

Key ingredients
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): the most easily absorbable and biologically available source of sulphur, which is important for muscles, joints, cartilage, bones and blood.
- Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and hyaluronic acid: vital building blocks for ligaments, tendons, bones and synovial fluid. The chondroitin sulphate contains 90% active ingredients.
- L-glutamine: a building block for glutathione, an antioxidant that is important in the recovery process following an injury.
- A blend of herbs: Ananasus comosus, Curcuma longa, Boswellia serrata, Ribes nigrum and Tanacetum parthenium. The ingredients have a cumulative and synergetic effect, scientifically proven in Cavalor's research programme. The form of turmeric used contains 95% curcuminoids, the active substance.
Feeding guide
Sprinkle 2 or 3 x 30 ml over the feed daily, depending on the intensity of the activity and your horse's sensitivity. High-level sport horses: 30 ml 2 to 3 times per day. 1 pump dose = 30 ml. Maximum 200 ml per horse per day.
Best results are achieved after an initial 28 day period. After that it can be added as required.
Shake well to obtain a homogenous dose.
Suitability
Not every horse needs the same level of protection. Cavalor ArtiTec provides proven protection at peak times and helps to mitigate negative processes caused by excessive strain. Cavalor Arti Motion is especially intended for horses in the growth phase, non-working horses and horses that are not heavily strained, and Cavalor Arti Matrix provides extra support for sport horses.
