How to Measure Your Head

Using a soft fabric tape measure, wrap it around the widest part of your head — approximately 2 cm above your eyebrows, level across your forehead, just above the tops of your ears, and around the fullest part at the back of your head. Keep the tape snug but not tight. Measure in centimetres and repeat 2-3 times to confirm.

Tip: If you don't have a soft tape measure, wrap a piece of string around your head following the same path, mark where it meets, and measure the string against a ruler.

Not all Equestro helmets are available in every size. Most models come in S, M, and L. Selected styles (Azael and Azael Stone ranges) also offer XS and XL for riders at either end of the size range. Check the size options on each product page.

Brand sizing can vary between models — always measure your head rather than relying solely on a size from another brand.

Fit adjustment

All Equestro helmets have a rear dial adjustment system that tightens the fit by up to about 1 cm.
The inner padding is removable and washable. Over time, padding compresses slightly, so a snug-but-comfortable fit on day one is ideal.

How Should It Fit?

The helmet should sit level on your head, with the front edge approximately 2–3 cm above your eyebrows.
It should feel snug but not tight — no pressure points, but no movement when you shake your head.
The chin strap should allow one finger's width between the strap and your chin when fastened.
If the helmet rocks forward/backward or side to side, try the next size down or adjust the rear wheel.

The Equestro Women's Apocalypse Fabric Shell Riding Hat has EN 1384-2023 homologation. It has a wide visor for added sun protection, a fabric-lined outer shell and front vents for excellent ventilation.

A rear rowel adjustment system fits the helmet closely. The inner padding is removable, the chin strap is faux leather-lined, hypoallergenic and antibacterial with a clip closure, and the logo is embossed tone-on-tone on the frame.
