Roeckl riding gloves are sized by hand circumference. Measure your hand, then match your measurement to the size chart below.
How to measure for a riding glove
1. Use a soft fabric tape measure. If you do not have one, use a piece of string and measure the string against a ruler afterwards.
2. Open your hand and wrap the tape around the base knuckles. Do not include the thumb.
3. Make a loose fist and read the circumference.
4. Find that measurement in the chart below. The measurement is the circumference of the hand, in cm and inches.

Fit notes
Roeckl adult sizes are measured in the old inch (French pouce, about 2.7 cm), so a size 8 glove is 8 pouce, which is 21.6 cm.
Gloves are cut differently for their purpose, so the sizes are a guideline. Riding gloves fit like a second skin, because holding the reins calls for high tactile sensitivity.
Roeckl cuts its equestrian range for the hand: a ladies' cut in sizes 6 to 7.5 and a men's cut in sizes 8 to 11.

The backhand is 2-way Spandex, a bi-elastic material with a durable 3D structure that gives excellent freedom of movement. The palm is EVO.SENSE, a grippy, hard-wearing and particularly soft synthetic suede that gives a precise feel on the reins.
Comfort-Cut gives grip and comfort through an optimised seam design on the index finger, and a hook-and-loop strap closes the glove.
