Imperial Riding kids' sizes are based on the child's height in cm (e.g. size 140 = approx. 140 cm tall). For the best fit, take a chest, waist and hip measurement and cross-reference with height.
How to measure:
- Chest — around the fullest part of the chest, tape horizontal and comfortably snug.
- Waist — around the natural waistline (narrowest part of the torso).
- Hip — around the fullest part of the hips.

This size chart is a guideline. Measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements — garments are cut to allow room for movement. Styles with a more fitted cut (e.g. competition shirts, technical base layers) may run snugger; relaxed styles may run looser. If in doubt, size up.
The Imperial Riding Laura Full Grip is a pair of kids' riding breeches with a fleece lining. They are made from a face fabric of 75% polyamide and 25% elastane, with a back panel of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. Young riders want to stay comfortable while riding and helping at the stables, even on cold days. The soft fleece lining keeps their legs warm. The elastic waistband and thin jersey leg ends give a comfortable fit, while the full grip seat offers extra grip in the saddle.
